Becoming a Member of Crossroads
At Crossroads, our vision is to build a great town for all people through a gospel movement that brings personal conversion, community formation, justice, mercy and cultural renewal to the town of Framingham, and beyond.
We can only pursue that vision effectively if we each embrace it personally, allowing it to shape our individual values and decisions. If you are willing to embrace this vision as your own, and join us as we seek to advance God’s Kingdom, we invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a Member of Crossroads Community Church.
Our Members have made a public decision to engage with us in this work. If you have been enjoying Crossroads’ ministries for a while, maybe it is time to take the next step—to get out of the grandstands and become part of the team!
The Membership Process
Becoming a Member of Crossroads Community Church is a relatively simple process, consisting of three steps:
STEP 1: Attend a Membership Class. Membership classes typically consist of two meetings on Sunday afternoons. Free lunch and childcare are provided. Membership classes run at least twice per year.
STEP 2: Attend a Worship Service where you are publicly welcomed into Membership. We want to celebrate your addition to the Crossroads Family!
STEP 3: Meet one-on-one with a Pastor or Elder. We want to work with you personally, so that you can experience the overwhelming joy of engaging in the transforming mission of Christ’s Church.
All Members must agree on these three basic requirements:
- You have a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.
- You have been baptized at some time in your life, or are willing to be baptized as soon as it becomes possible. (We hold at least one baptism service every summer)
- You agree with Crossroads Community Church’s Statement of Faith.
See you at the next Membership Class!
